I am back in my home town of Kansas City, KS, by my family pool. I am with my husband, I am happy. I turn around and I see the vicious woman who continuously hurts my husband and I. An argument erupts now she is suddenly in the water with my husband, who is frozen next to her. I feel the chill, and see the sleek shine of the ice on his face as he stares at me. She has consumed him.

I storm off to the glass sliding door to go into my childhood home. The home quickly darkness into a black hole, I see my parents, and my mom’s parents sitting together as if they were a clique of some sort. I am in utter disbelief how does this happen? I look at my father, and I see a similar shine from the ice that has frozen him solid. My mother tries to force me to join them, my mother’s parents stare at me as if I am a criminal.

I can’t take it anymore. I storm off yet again. I walk into another room that is black. My life has no color, and nothing is familiar. How did I end up like this? Where is my protection? Why did those who harmed me more than once get peace, and I was sent off into the darkness?
