My  Dream

My dream to soar high in the extensive sky,

My dream to reach the heights of heavens,

My dream to hold the whole world in my arms,

My dream to be a free, happy creature of God.

These were my dreams as a youthful girl,

When I was unaware of the harsh realities of world,

When I was blissfully enveloped in my ignorance,

When I believed dreams could change into reality.

I stopped dreaming when I became mature and grew up,

When I knew paradise was far beyond of my reach,

When I realized that world was too big for my hands,

When I understood that I could not be free and content.

Then God intervened, blessed me with my baby angel,

He gave me confidence that I could reverie again,

He notify me I could dream the same for her again,

He enlightened me that I could turn her dreams into reality.

He had completed me by making me a mother,

He provided me his powers and potential,

He bequeathed me his wonderful quality of tenderness,

I knew I will prove him right with my baby by my side.
