It was 3:30 in the morning. James had been out all night searching for the slightest clue as to where his wife vanished to. She left without a single goodbye, just up and gone. They had been married for 5 years now, and had been trying to conceive. James wanted a family, and Alexandria wanted to make him happy. So it didn’t make sense why she was gone. Where could she have taken off to? And why?

It’s 5 am, James pulls back into his driveway. No lights on, door still locked, not a trace of Alexandria. He goes inside, to see if there was something he may have missed, but finds absolutely nothing. He thinks back to the last conversation they had, an argument about something stupid. She thought if he wanted to start a family they would need to move to a better neighborhood. And him being stubborn, was reluctant to move on impulse. James thinks back and wonders “Did she leave me over that?”

But that wasn’t Alexandria’s style, to just bail like that. She was much too organized to not leave a hint as to where she may have run off to. “So,” James thought, “That leaves only a few other options..”

He went to the police station immediately, fearing the worst. He filed a missing persons report and asked he sheriff if there was anything else he could do. The sheriff, with a sombre look, said “Son, I wish there was more that I could do, but without any more information, or clues as to where she went, we have to process his like any other missing persons case. That means we will need to question you, and anyone else who may have had contact with Alexandria before she disappeared, to see if she told anyone anything about where she was going.”

James said thank you to the sheriff, got in his truck, and disappeared. No one heard from him nor Alexandria again.  The case was processed as a missing persons, and James, having disappeared, was the prime suspect. But, the case was never solved. And no one ever knew just where James and Alexandria vanished to.
