 Above the town of Bethlehem

They saw a star, so clear and bright,

A heavenly lantern for the lamb

On that dark and mystical night.

Angles called to those that heard

Go see the child who will be king

And sing your praises unto God

Who has done this wondrous thing…

And sing your praises unto God

Who has done this wondrous thing.

So many gathered from far and wide,

Villagers, shepherds and kings

Their hearts were lifted in joyous hope

As the hope that comes on Angles wings,

Yes,

Their hearts were lifted in joyous hope

Those hopes that come on Angles wings.

Hale, Hale, our Priest is here

Our one and only king

Hale, Hale, our Priest is here

Let all your voices ring.

Sing of joy to God above

A Song from the joyous heart

Sing him songs of peace and love

For soon the Lord must part.

Hale, Hale, our Priest is here

Our one and only king

Hale, Hale, our Priest is here

Let all your voices ring.

Hale, Hale, our Priest is here

Our one and only king

Hale, Hale, our Priest is here

Let all your voices ring.
