I was born in a hospital, but without the bravery gene.

I'm the biggest chicken-shit that you've ever seen.

 

When it's time to stand up, I'll be the one sitting down.

In the eye of the hurricane, I'll be going to ground.

 

Not for others, mind you, for the dude in the mirror,

for you I'll be there, but for myself, it couldn't be clearer.

 

They've offered to implant one, but I'm frightened of that.

I'd rather pretend, and bury my head in the sand--I'll stand pat.

 

When it's time to man up, the frightened bastard man's out,

that I have the bravery of a two year old, I don't have a doubt!
