The Halloween Season

Daffodils erupted

And all the screaming people

Don't know where to run

Don't know where to hide

The whole world

Is going to die

And, maybe all the dead

Can finally get some sleep

When the death of the night

Finally falls to pieces

And Reece's Pieces

Flood the mouths of the hungry

Who crave candy

Coming in just 6 more nights

To bring frightful delights

Fulfilling desires for sweets

While causing diabetes

And as the world freaks out

And the lights go out

The happiness fallows

Here, and about

The giggling noises

Thru-out thee atmosphere

Winds up the trolley

In it's laughing gear

When the shine of the nether worlds

Rings so true

The news of all that is nothing

Begins to break thru

Sorrow and strife

Have no place on Halloween night

For, the sanctity of this holiday

Knows no sadness

The whiffling gasses

Up into the night sky on such a season

Is forever pleasing, with meaning

And purpose

"To remember the people

That were once with us"

Thank you! I wish i could print out out and give to my nieces for Christmas, but I think the talk of death in the beginning would scare them. Oh well.....
