On top of Boot Hill

there's a cold eerie chill

with crude crosses

of names carved in wood.

Gunslingers and rogues

are the residents there

the wild men

who mostly spilled blood.

THE BADDEST……...

THE MADDEST……..

THE MEANEST……..

The fastest……….

The hardest of men

that were quick on the draw

Who never foresaw

an ending before

Three score and ten.
