We named our dog Ringo

After the drummer in the band

When he isn't chewing the walls

He's eating out of my hand.

They say dogs are like their owners

In his case it’s plain to see

When he isn't wolfing down food

He's on the sofa watching TV.

Since we got the little lad

About him I can't stop talking

He's pretty well behaved

I just can't get him walking

We just go with what feels right

Without really knowing,

Just one thing going amiss

He won't stop bloody growing.

If you've got some treats

He comes, no need to shout him.

He may have trashed our house

But we wouldn't be without him.
