Young friendship might be likened to a new Rose bush. It has those wonderful Roses that seem to overshadow those few thorns that are persistently there.

As the years pass, and if that bush survives, the bush grows many branches, adding new ones all the while.

And with the new branches comes new roses, many more endearing than those of the past, so those roses fade and die.

Yet, in the eyes of the true friend, some long lost roses never left their place on the bush; they are always there and always visible.
