I cannot write a poem to save my life or so it seems I just can't find the words that put to light Just how I feel It's never been this difficult a fight To say the least I've always had the second sight To sneak up on the beast

At wits end ,I believe that my salvation is at stake The nightmares come more often mostly When I am awake I want to be as clear as glass so please Make no mistake The horrors that I see while sleeping Cause sanity to break

My inspiration comes to me sporadic and in spurts So when the thought abruptly leaves It doesn't sting, it hurts Someday I'll regain expressive contemplative bursts Until that day I'll suffer from depression at its worst.
