It's contagious.
Dont say I didn't warn you !

Today's the start of

ADVENTITUS

numbers one to twenty four

little chocolate shapes

behind a cut out

cardboard door.

Children become more hyper

parents lose control

ADVENTITUS.. is contagious

It only infects the very small.

Adults seem to be immune

from turning into

a raving loon

but if you've have children

It’ll be in your house very soon.

kids start jumping and bouncing about

whilst opening perforated doors

doing things they usually hate

like normal household chores.

Then after Christmas day

thankfully it starts to wane

until December comes around

and then it all begins again……..

Fantastic, Mr Watson! And so true. But take advantage while they're young because once they get older and less excited, the chore-help seems to disappear too!

Just a bit of fun Ronald, fond memories of yesterday and the chocolate advent calendar.

An Adventitus for the rest of us!
I don't recall giving extra help with the chores come Advent time - vacuuming and dusting was how I made my weekly allowance anyways. Not enough chocolate in advent calendars, I say! ;)

I remember doing things I wouldn't normally do, as for the chocolates Jeff, we had a cardboard calendar with choc's, a cloth sock with numbers on and a musical christmas tree with ornaments that you put on every day, it s on the mantelpiece now, we put gold and silver chocolate coins in those or small chocolate snowmen or santa's.
This year is the first without those tasty treats, then again my lad's twenty now !

Our family caught this virus when my dad was stationed in Germany. The Germans are big on Advent and those hanging calendars with the pop-open windows. As soon as they appeared on the wall, we kids became model children, eager to help in any way.

Good one.
