Understanding minimalism/abstract art from my point of view (Ever Salazar), and what makes it so interesting!
Why some human being can not understand it ?

The true meaning of Minimalism Art

To speak the truth, not everybody understands art and talking  about minimalism abstract art it can be quite interesting for some human beings.

What is the charm of art? Why would any one find amazing some geometric shapes with basic colors and then invest it with special significance?
A pice of art does not protect you from a murder like a weapon would or afford warmth in cold weather, it only decorates.
So, what makes so special minimalism abstract art?

Whenever we find our selfs attending to a museum exhibition, it is inevitable to overhear frustrated comments from other people by the work they are there to see.
Minimalism is not exactly the easiest concept to fully grasp, like any essay we ever made it is important to have a clear definition of it.

Thefreedictionary.com defines minimalism as follows:
"1. A school of abstract painting and sculpture that emphasizes extreme simplification of form, asby the use of basic shapes and monochromatic palettes of primary colors, objectivity, andanonymity of style. Also called ABC art, minimal art, reductivism, rejective art"

Modern architecture tough us to see how less can be more, it happens exactly the same with minimalism art.
Many art viewers balk at minimalism paints that express nothing but it self. But all true art, is nothing else but it self.
What a piece of art might tell us about it comes after consideration of colors, proportions, shapes and so on.

Focusing only on an artwork's effect on us and not on the real essence of it, we might find it boring. But that is our limitation, not the work's, that's extraordinary in thinking; How the idea came together, how the artist put all the elements in such harmony, the technic used, the story behind it and entering to a fascinating new world of minimalism, and that's exactly what Johann Wolfgang idea of art; “One cannot escape from the world with greater certainty than through art, and one cannot relate to it with greater certainty than through art.”

Carmen Herrera a Cuban-American pioneer abstract/ minimalist  once said: " you can not talk about art; you art about art", minimalism art makes no difference from Niels Bohr quote too "Anyone who is not shocked by quantum theory has not understood it.”
At the end of the day, it all depend in which side of the kaleidoscope you decide to see minimalism/abstract art.
