This last dark night

I’m taking my lone coat

And unread books

Under the dim moonlight

To the port, to a tiny boat

When the dark blue light

Hits the sea at dawn

I’ll be sailing toward horizon

Watching the upside down land

Which I’m leaving behind

No more burning at cold night

To keep you in my life

No more polishing of the rust

To shine your knife

I’ll let currents carry me

And my drowned reflection

To places I could have never thought of

And could have never be

I’ll be me on that boat

Lost in mist of horizon

Left be right, up be down

I’ll be whole, I’ll be me
