I MISS HOME DEDICATED TO OMATA GRACE

Love defines a home Unity defines a family Family is a life-long team Where love is full to the beam No family no human race No home no life A tree don’t make a forest A flower don’t make a forest An ant can carry a cube of sugar Some leave home and fall sick Not the water nor the environment A home is not a building or brick A home is where joy resides A home is where God lives We don’t fear the night We stick together even without light The best gift God gives is a home Leaving for my father’s land service Was like a decade of no love A family is a rock When other walls fall Only rock is a trusted block The only confidence to rise tall It is a good thing to go to places It is better to meet new faces Home is the best place for every races Million miles away from home It was like a pilgrimage in another culture Am not ungrateful to them They tried their humanly best I miss my parents, siblings, aunt and uncle I miss tuo, kilishi, and fura de nunu I miss the city where recruit soldiers are trained I miss historical zazzau, that made peanuts and cotton seed Where Queen Amina exploits made women proud Now, Tell the sky, stars and the moon Let the sun rush to meet me Let the colorful rainbow be my carpet As a lion get excited to get its food So are the sand excited in my hood Now, Have grown, matured and belong to Christ Love Christ and carry your cross to win my heart You want to know why I miss home Christ is the reason I miss my home Love is the definition of a home And Christ is the definition of Love.
