A A A

Breath like a solar flair,
Wind of radiation and photons,
Cosmic absolution-
I sing and I scream,
Because I am afraid.

The list of solutions,
To postpone or evade deletion,
Is no longer than "none",
and my pale skin is a white flag of surrender,
Giving in to the consumption.

My vision is fading;
From deep red to empty black,
Little bits of light fighting to escape the event horizon,
Into the singularity,
Into the nothing,
Crushed.

Atoms ripped apart,
Bursting into fire and plasma.
I am beautiful.
Ejected to orbit,
Only to be sucked back in,
I am nothing.

Seconds,
Only seconds,
But it will be witnessed for years.
