I called her Twilight

When the raindrops came upon us

And in the after hours

It didn't matter where they fell.

In the towers and the castles

All was lost

To the wishing coins

That float within the well.

Make a wish

And touch a shooting star,

Place the coin in your shoe

And feel the pain.

Storms are given to the restless

And they must feel them

In the after hours,

Watching Twilight in the rain.

Restless dreams rise and have fallen

Like waves upon the ever changing sea

And the storms that rip souls like sails

Are locked in those memories, of the night.

Once again, I see footprints on the shore,

As I watch sunsets melting on horizons.

Memories fade, but raindrops come again.

Was someone there? Maybe it was Twilight.
