the poison's starting to spread,
and i'm feelin good.

about an hour in
and it's coarsed completely,
wholesomely,
thoroughly.

i'm in my own world,
this dense dimension,
nearly impenetrable.

nearly.

until she notices me.

not so inpenetrable anymore.

the poison's still pumping,
the bass in this place is still,
thumping.

i'm gliding around the floor,
in this dense dimension of mine,
nearly inpenetrable.

nearly.

until she grabs me.

not so inpenetrable anymore.

we stick like lock and key,
and she's so close to me,
and the dancing, the dancing,
heavenly.

tranced.

my body, our bodies,
tranced.

swaying,
unison,
tranced.

she's shooting smiles over
her shoulder,
and all i see is

heaven-white teeth,
wrapped,
in hell-red lips

and i just can't believe this cadence.

the floor is ours,
and the heat from this friction,
is burning the place down.

the poison stops pumping though,
the bass,
no longer thumping.

and all that's left is ashes.
