They are things. They look like a person, and some of their behaviors resemble that of a person, but they are not thoughtful. People that just do things without thinking are not people. It is natural for a person to think about what is happening. Something that acts without meditation is a force. What animates that force is a good question. What causes wind? What causes growth? We can say that we know, and we can name and label, but in reality, we are unaware of what really is. I used to have a sense of security with the world, but I realize that there is no one in control. No one person can say that it is their decision that things are the way they are. And the rules are only things that have developed with time. People want to be the one in power, when in reality, no one is.
