Darcy to my Elizabeth

He came off as someone proud

Her personality is really loud

She was first to introduce

Converse he did not induce

Which made her think he’s arrogant

Her hatred, she would always rant

So it’s been quite a shocker

When they learned he helped her

Her heart that lacks attention

Was filled with joy and passion

Only an act of kindness he says,

Kept her giddy on most days

But as she looked unto his eyes; it’s impassive

No trace of being emotionally active

She do wished to be the person

Who’ll shine in his life like the sun

And then a pang of realization hit her

That whatever she is feeling is improper

Without a word she flee

Clearly uncertain of what she feel

Sending off different waves of news

Leaving an impression that he was just used

They never utter a word to another

Making the tension grew hotter

He found a new lady

And without him she is a nobody

It kills her when they don’t talk

Moreover when they do; he mock

Her heart once filled with affection

Was now replaced by affliction.

Bygone her dear pride and prejudice

Let her do as she please

For He is her Mr. Darcy

But as far as I can see

As his Elizabeth Bennet

She’s certainly not.
