King Gopichand was a student cum disciple of Sir Gorakhnath. Before being a student his mother gave him three teachings to help him throughout his life.

The first teaching was “To stay in a long fort”- meaning, any person should not listen to the worldwide miseries & should always be in the teacher’s or Guru’s company. Apart from the Guru’s feet there is no habitat in this world.

King Gopichand’s mother gave the second teaching: “To always eat delicious food”- meaning we should eat only little food & hunger should always be there within us. In that case any food which you eat will always be delicious to eat. King’s mother gave the third teaching: “Always sleep well”- meaning if you do a lot of hard work then you will get a good sleep even if you sleep on a rock, so the rock will also appear like a soft and smooth mattress to sleep on & you will also get a good sleep anywhere. “MOTHER IS THE FIRST TEACHER FOR A CHILD”
