It's Night
I reach a desert to plant new seeds
a place to call my own
trees for my own needs
birds for my own ears
bees for my own honey
a river to flow and caves to know
mountains to climb and creeks to find
a boat to sail an ocean so wide
wings to fly around too, and glide
with fruits so sweet i could forget sourness
with carrots and tomatoes and potatoes ill eat
breads in the shape of animals made with wheat
id kick around a ball of grass, id built a castle to last
id look out for pirates and raiders
id have festivals with cheery paraders
id have a queen who'd love me most
she would with me be the most wonderful host
to all my friends and we'd have a dinner party
the creations all over would be so arty
pink seas with blue flamingoes
apple trees budding with mangoes
butterflies helping the caterpillars grow
otters helping their own friends know
how to somersault from over the stones
into ponds of shining crystal waters
under cavern domes with rays sunlight
riding  joyously droplets of waterfalls
into ther homes.

I wish such a desert with all my might
anything other gives me a fright and
i lie scared in this world unknown
looking around for a way through
all this confusion that pains my bones.
