On one side we find the most respectable job for a woman: housewife. And on the other side the most disgraceful: hooker. If housewives are socially well accepted is because they don't get paid. They dedicate and sacrifice their lives raising their children, taking care of their home and husband. And it's beautiful cause it's what was expected from women since the very beginning of humanity. And it's everything hooker don't do. Staying at home taking care of everything and everybody. When women don't lead a life of sacrifices for their loved ones, they are judged by society.

Hookers are women of the night. They are independent (not always), make their own money, don't pay tax, and don't tell people what they do for a living. Basically, they have something to hide. Even their family, often don't know about it. It sounds like an illegal activity, and it is in some countries like Sweden. People say it's shameful for a woman to sell her body for money. And what about selling its soul for money? Which is even worse for me. Hooker don't do it for fun. They need the money, and they don't have any support from a husband, their family, or the government. They are by themselves and suffer a lack of opportunities in life.

Julia was a hooker. Now she moved to the next level, and she doesn't work anymore in the street. She is an Escort of high standing. But she reminds very well how hard it was working in the street. Because you expect to meet all the worst guys in the city, dangerous and dirty ones. Forget about Richard Gere or Brad Pitt. "Money Monster" is ugly when you need it desperately, as you can't live without it. Only the dead don't need it. Julia was a "Pretty Woman", tall with long legs, a big smile and a great sense of humor. "Sleeping with the Enemy" was the worst experience she ever made as a hooker. This client was crazy. He almost killed her. That's when she decided to stop working in the street. Hopefully she had what it takes to get to the higher level. But many don't have this opportunity, and stay in the street forever. Sad and broken lives for many of them. Most of them are "Runaway Bride". They had bad luck with men. And they finally decided they didn't need them in their life. But life is hard for a woman by herself. City life is a lonely place, and at night "the wolves" go out in the street for "hunting". "Everyone says I love you", but what most of the guys want is sex,... sex,... and more sex. What to expect in an over sexual society? Sex is everywhere, on TV, on internet, on the street... And it's convenient cause it doesn't require commitment and responsibility. Not like love and relationships.

The most important things in life for Julia are: "Eat, Pray, Love" She dedicate herself to sex for a living, but she doesn't really care about it. It's like people having a boring office job. They just don't want to think about it. All they want is the money, and get home as soon as possible at the end of the day. For hookers it's just the same. People don't fall in love with office job. Hookers don't fall in love with sex. Some even dream of "Love, Wedding, Marriage". But most of the time, the right guys are already married. You can't accuse them of "Duplicity". They know society judge them badly. And everybody in this situation would do the same. Anyway people lie all the time about what they really think no to be judged. Am I wrong? They have "Secret in Their Eyes". They need love as much as anybody else. And probably much more than woman leading "normal" lives.

Julia used to live in "Notting Hill", but his neighbour "Michael Collins" found out she was a hooker. So, all the neighborood had "Something to Talk About".

"I Love Trouble"

Said Mr. Collins, when Julia asked him to shut up and to mind his own business. She was victim of a "Conspiracy Theory". She surely was a better person than Mr. Collins, she never tried to hurt anybody and destroy people's reputation. But as a hooker she was judged and Mr. Collins was seen as the good guy, getting rid of a "bad person" in the building. Julia had to leave as people didn't leave her in peace. Being a hooker is like being always on the losing end of the stick. People have so many prejudices against hookers, they'll never be on their side. And I think it's very unfair! "Dying young" is common among hookers. Many of them are victim of gender violence. "Erin Brockovich" a colleague of Julia, died lately of AIDS. At her funeral, Julia was the only person present. And dying alone is common in the hooker community.

"Mona Lisa Smile" ironically to "Valentine's Day" cause she's all alone. Thousands and thousands of people see her every year at the Louvre Museum in Paris. But she is a lonely and humble woman. She is not a queen, wearing expensive clothes and jewelleries. She doesn't have a family. She is just on her own, just like hookers. Some of them have children. So, they still have a "Mother's Day".

Julia accepted to answer a few questions in an interview. She wants people to see the "real face" of prostitution, and fight against the prejudices.

"It's amazing what can happen if you just put your arm around somebody."

You need physical and intimate contact and you don't have anybody to comfort you. It will cost you a bit of money, but a hooker will be pleased to do it. Hookers fulfill a need in society, which mean they are useful. Actually more useful, and "much cheaper" than corrupted politicians and multinational CEO.

"A fever is an expression of inner rage."

And again, it you don't have anybody. A hooker is the right person to get the inner rage out of you. You need to "come" or "climax" to reduce the fever. And it will work much better if someone help you. Doing it alone is not the same. You are asking a stranger to make you a favor. It's just natural to give back the fever,... sorry,... I mean the favor. They need to pay the rent and buy food. Nothing wrong with that. They really need the money, not like the politicians, CEO and billionaires who have more money than they need. And still want more, which is silly.

"If you love someone, you say it, right then, out loud. Otherwise, the moment just passes you by."

One of the prejudices people have about hookers. They think hooker don't fall in love. It's totally wrong. Sometimes they even know more about love than regular women. Usually they've been hurt by love, which make them more vulnerable and sensitive, and in no way colder. Look on the side of corrupted politicians and CEO for the cold hearted people. Cause what makes people cold, is "big, dirty money", not sex.

"It's funny when people say, 'I don't think Julia likes me.' Honey, if I don't like you, you're going to know about it."

Julia is straight and honest, she doesn't play games. She only likes men. And men do know when she doesn't lie them. She only sleeps with the clients she likes. It's the big difference between her life as a High Standard Escort, and her life as a hooker when she was new in the business.

"So, goodnight Julia. Don't worry about love. Your next client is Richard Gere."
