Zombie and David wake up from their beds. They open the door and see the sun rising and animals in the distance. Zombie’s farm was growing, but it still needed some time before it will be ready for harvest. David goes out hunting and chopping wood while Zombie goes down mining for precious resources.

Zombie stumbles across a cave filled with iron and coal, as well as some gold. He brightens the cave with torches and gets rid of any mobs inside, and starts mining the ores. While venturing in the cave, he sees an underground lava pool with diamond ore at the other side. Diamonds were very valuable, due to their strong durability as tools and protection as armor, as well as the things needed to craft very useful things such as enchantment tables. Zombie builds a bridge of cobblestone and successfully mines the diamonds and turns back around to find more.

But when he turns around, what should he see but a skeleton riding a big black spider, or known as a Spider Jockey. Spider Jockeys, due to the wall climbing ability of the spider and the bow and arrow of the skeleton, can be a tough duo to fight, and can take down an unarmored and weaponless player easily. Zombie has an iron chestplate and sword, but fighting the spider jockey near lava can be fatal because the spider or skeleton can knock him into the flaming pool by lunging or arrows.

The skeleton shoots an arrow. Zombie dodges it, and it falls into the lava. The spider jumps at him, but his chestplate was minimizing the damage. Zombie strikes the spider once, but the eight-legged arachnid climbs up the cave wall out of reach from Zombie. The skeleton shoots another arrow and knocks him back, almost falling into the lava. But Zombie has a bow and arrows, and strikes the spider 2 times. It falls to the ground and disappears, leaving only the skeleton to battle. Zombie runs and lands 3 hits on it. It goes down, and disappears with the spider. Zombie had the first battle with the most challenging mob a beginner can face, near a dangerous lava pool, and survived.

Zombie wanders around the cave, gathering more ores and destroying any mob that stands in his way. He then goes back up the mine entrance and stores all the things he gathered inside a double chest. David comes back home at the same time and stores the wood and some meat in the same double chest. Then he cooks the meat remaining in a furnace and shares it with Zombie. They both eat and their hunger bars raise up again.

Zombie has a mind to take a break from what he experienced, but David says that he wants to go to other pools of water. “Sugar canes can grow there. We can use it to bake a cake.” said David. And so he goes out of the door and heads toward the trees, exploring for some water pools and sugar canes.

Time passes. Zombie waits for David to come back. It was almost nighttime. Where was he? thought Zombie. He really doesn’t want to face more dangerous mobs after that battle he almost lost. But still he had to, so he got his armor, tools and weapons and heads toward the direction David went.

More time passes and Zombie keeps calling out “David, where are you!” or “David, it’s me! Zombie754!” while destroying any mobs that sees him. He accidentally stumbles toward an Enderman, but this time he looks away from the black creature and continues forward. Zombie kept calling out until he saw a trail of cobblestone on the ground. At first, he ignored it, but then he saw more cobblestone in a straight line. Hoping it might not be a trap, he follows the trail, leading to a treehouse that had its ladders missing, probably to avoid people climbing up and sneak into the house. Zombie pulls out shears he had just crafted and begins to cut the vines off the trees to create a makeshift ladder. He climbs up and up, and looking below him, he sees that a creeper and 2 zombies spotted him and tried to chase up, but they weren’t programmed to climb properly. He reaches the treehouse but sneaks when he walks to hide his nametag. Through the wooden fence windows, he sees who else but David, trapped in iron bars with nothing in his inventory and 1 strange player guarding him.

“You killed my friend, so i will have to hold you in prison.” the mysterious player said. David glares at him and says “You can hold me prisoner, but i’m going to escape! And you will pay for this!” “How scary, Dave. You know i have your things secured well enough that you cannot hurt me any way.” the player replies. “Dont call me Dave, you dumb-head!” David replies, furious. “I shall call you whatever i like, Mr. Trapped-in-Prison.”

While David was arguing with the player, Zombie had quietly bored a hole in the wall and covered it when he got inside. He snuck in without the player seeing him. David noticed, but he didn’t look or else it would get Zombie caught. He just kept on arguing at the person. Zombie made more holes in walls instead of using doors or else it would make noise.

He reaches a room filled with chests labelled with what they have inside. “Food” “Iron Tools” “Materials” some of them said, but the one that really got his attention was one labelled “Diamond Weapons”. But he also couldn’t open chests, as they were also noisy, but he has to get his friend free, so he opened it and reacted quickly.

The player has heard the chest being opened. He pulls out his diamond sword and sneaks to where the sound came from. Zombie had hidden himself behind 2 chests stacked on top of each other. The player comes in and does a quick search around the room. Luckily he didn’t find anyone, but Zombie still needed to react. Anytime now he would be found and locked up with David. So he took a quick peek. The player had his back turned to him. This is the perfect moment to attack, thought Zombie. So he quickly sprung out of his hiding place and knocks the player down. He tries to deal more hits, but the player had pulled out his sword and blocked them. And then he swung his sword towards Zombie but he dodges it. A second time, but the sword dealt a sharp blow on his chestplate, opening up a weak spot. The player quickly reaches for the exposed skin, but Zombie dodged his attack and does his. It breaks the helmet the player was wearing to pieces. But the player wasn’t done. He stuck the sword inside the unprotected flesh of Zombie, damaging him. The player pulls the sword out and starts to swing it down on him when an arrow was shot behind his head.

He lurched back in pain, and sees David, free from his cell, with a bow in his hand. Zombie punches the unaware player down and strikes him with his sword until he disappears. They had defeated a ruthless person who trapped David, but what they were unaware of was that he was a member of the Dark Swords, the griefer group David previously mentioned.

The two gathered up the items, but Zombies looks down and sees five zombies, two skeletons and two creepers at the bottom of the trees, waiting for them to come down, so Zombie said that it’s best if they stay at this place for the night. David agrees, and they rest in the beds of the treehouse they had taken over.

The same dark figure from the previous night watches them again, takes down the mobs surrounding the tree, and goes into the woods to disappear again.
