It was a cold night, everything was quiet. No car horns, no dogs barking and shops were closed. It was like the village was deserted, but it was just the calm before the storm. Looking at the horizon you could see dark clouds coming close; a storm was coming. I stood in the middle of the streets wondering where to go since I couldn't find this village on the map I had. It was too late to travel to the next village and my phone had no signal, so it was time to find a place to stay before the storm reached us.

I looked around and finally found a small hotel to stay. The storm was coming fast and it was already starting to rain heavily.

I rang the bell on the information desk. A bald man appeared looked like he was in his 50s, he had blue eyes and a big mustache.

"Good afternoon sir. you don't look from around, are you visiting?" as asked smiling showing his crooked teeth.

"No just passing by, I need a room for the night."

"Ah yes, not a lot of people come here. it's rare we got visitors. Here is your key, I will show you to your room."

"Thank you."

It was starting to get rough outside I could hear the wind through the cracks of the walls and the thunder was rocking the place while lighting breaking the darkness of the night.

"Is it always that stormy here?"

" No. it only happens one day a year. tomorrow it will be gone."
