Silence
Silence falls as nature's voice
Speak if you must, but that's your choice.
Quietness fills the air as if it were a curse,
As you stand there wanting that thirst.

Noise is pollution, as speaking is an action.
Sounds of sirens in the city, blanket the sky,
To me I ask “why?”

I set my dreams up high!
But yet, you just stand there and lie.

Fight I try, not to say anything,
But you just stand there with open wings,
That glimmer with golden rings.

Take my hand you say,
Soon it will be a new day
But you just allay
Forever in peace

Quiet as quiet can be
Silence is life's key
