In stillness wanders a saddened light

By ponds and streams and homes for dew.

In sunlight's hope and midnights tears

The harshest rules are always blue.

Through quiet times the soul doth scream

In scratching tones, like nails on glass,

Yet all's not lost to the retched sound

And all's not tossed into the trash.

One more moment, one more hour,

One more sunrise to mutter through.

Is it all about survivals seeds

And how they grow beneath the dew?
