The Amazing Grace in Every Miracle

Do you believe in miracles?

Miracles are defined as improbable or extraordinary events that bring very welcome outcomes. So with that in mind, what is a miracle to YOU?

I think there are miracles all around, each and every day. Some are truly extraordinary, beyond what we can comprehend or understand. Events such as the birth of a child, a disease that is suddenly healed, an accident that's survived, and any other thing that is humanly impossible with no worldly explanation.

I have been blessed with many extraordinary miracles in my life. A broken marriage, four days away from signing divorce papers, restored and prospering. A clean biopsy, a huge debt relieved beyond anything I could have done on my own, jobs that came when just about all hope ha been lost. These are just a few of the "extra-ordinary" miracles in my life, when all seemed that seemed impossible, became more than possible!

But there are also the everyday miracles as well, the ones that may seem more ordinary and not so extraordinary. The things in our lives we may not even perceive as miracle, but truly are. We don't see them as such, for they are the things we take for granted, the things we expect and pay no notice to.

Things such as our health, our family, our home, and all our needs provided for. The strength, discipline and determination to do all we need in a day, when we have nothing left to give. The healing of losses in life, with new hope to go on. The touch of a hug, kind words of a friend, answers to prayers, patience for persevere, and forgiveness both given and granted. A new start each day, to do it better and see it clearer. All graciously given, not by our own efforts, but only by His amazing Grace.

And through new eyes, I see that life is an extraordinary miracle in itself. That nothing is ordinary, if we choose to see each day as the amazing gift it truly is. To see we are miraculously blessed with more than we deserve, and more than we could ever do on our own!

And this is called God's Grace, the most extraordinary miracle of all!
