Good evening, welcome to the show

Phone in, no topic too big or small

You decide what we talk about

Let's take our first call.

Maureen complains about the road works

Through the centre of town

Barry calls up about his bad health

It's been getting him down.

Pete wants to talk about the immigrants

Says they should all go back home

Simon wants to plug his indie band

And plays his guitar down the phone.

John's worried about the way things are going

All about Brexit and Trump

Gayle thinks her house is haunted

She talks ghosts and things that go bump.

Wendy has just got engaged

She is absolutely delighted

Sarah phones in about the match

Wants to talk about Man United.

Jean discusses retiring

And wants advice on her pension

Tom is having family troubles

They're all falling out causing tension.

Thank you for listening

To these calls of joy and sorrow

We hope you enjoyed the show

Tune in same time tomorrow.
