My names Alexis, or Lex for short. I am an 18 year old in college studying for a business degree. I have always dreamed of owning my own florist. Something about the colours of flowers, the arranging of bouquets that calms me, keeps me feeling balanced no matter what stress I deal with, creating a bouquet helps me escape from all of it. I feel free. I have always dreamed of leaving this town, and setting up shop in a quite village, small town. I'm not made for the city, the noise, the people. As. You can already tell, I'm not a very sociable person. I do have a best friend called Danielle although you will get to know her more as my story unfolds. I led a pretty normal life until someone entered it and changed it completely..for better or worse you ask? Let's find out....

Today I start college, 18 and officially and adult.
Today I take my first steps in the adult world.
Today was not going to be my usual day.
Today I would meet him.

I woke at 7am, had my usual jam on toast for breakfast. Brushing my teeth whilst I stared at my reflection, hating on every little flaw on my face. Nose to big, lips to small, hair extremely flat and far to straight. I Huffed as I scrambled through my wardrobe trying to find something, anything I could wear for college that didn't have people assuming I was a loser. I got my books together and by 8am I was out the door. Headphones in I'm playing my favourite playlist consisting mainly of Paramore. Waiting at the bus stop, that's when I first laid eyes on him.

He was easily 6ft. Hair as black as the sky at night with a shimmer of deep blue, he was slim but you could tell he works out, I bet he had a 6 pack under that shirt. Oh, the way he was dressed. "Damn he's fine" I blurted out loud. I seriously need to fix my mouth it always says things when I don't mean for it to. He looked over his shoulder and grinned at me as he kept walking. That wasn't just any grin, it had a somewhat evil but flirtatious feel to it.

I carried on my journey to college, but I couldn't take mind off of him. His eyes where ocean blue with a somewhat purple hue to them.. they were mesmerising. Even though I would never see him again it was almost like my mind was playing a short film of that exact moment he glanced over his shoulder at me. That smile, that sexy devilish grin makes me weak just thinking about it!
When I get to college I immediately race to my first class just so I can meet up with Danielle and tell her all about HIM. Dan is my best friend. We became friends in preschool. We have grown together, created and shared wonderful memories together, she's practically my sister. As I approached the door to my class two hands landed on my shoulders and spun me around. "Girl, the way you where running.. gossip, tell me now. Who is he?!" I told you, we grew up together, we have this sixth sense about each other. She knows me, I know her. I tell her all about him as we get to our seats, "Dan, the eyes.. it was like looking into a beaker of a magic potion" I told her. "Lex you've got it bad, you don't know him. You don't know his name, you'll probably never see him again" ... that's what we thought.
