12/24/16

I find it ironic that

Vampire Man just wants to taste blood-

And I don’t understand

How Vampire Man

Hides from the sun and cringes in the presence of a cross,

Yet

Still thinks he’s boss.

Somehow,

Vampire man thinks he has it all figured out-

Yet

He pretends he doesn’t know what the story is about.

He hides in that dungeon of death, murder, and darkness

Amidst the foul presence of other vampire friends;

Who only use him

As he uses them.

Oh, Vampire Man with that murderous grin-

Those empty eyes without a soul;

Who does he think he is?

Does anyone know?

A cape;

A veil of vanity to hide that sickly, pale body.

He thinks he’s so funny.

He thinks he’s so clever;

Seeking whomever he can devour.

Look in the mirror you coward!

I don’t think he’s ever really looked,

And when he does,

It crumbles his pride.

He bites his tongue out of habit and he sighs;

He is freighted by what he sees,

And I don’t know how I never realized;

Vampire Man is me.
