Beautiful Old Soul...
Come back old soul, we need your presence among us, angel lend your voice to my greedy ears once again...
Black as night, is what I..we saw...
We wished to see her again, in her white gown
But she's gone now-
I catch a glimpse of her once a upon a while,
when I look upon the aching stars of the night
She's the smallest one of them all,
though she shines the brightest...
Her smile, picture perfect, forming an image
in my deluded mind.
I miss her too, I know she misses me,
why would she bother to visit my kind?
My heart at loss of words, can only form actions-
upon this situation.
I listened to her speak in her soothing voice-
Then my eyes blinked awake-
She's here, ain't she...?
She smiled at me.., and I smiled back,
but I never knew-
it was our last encounter on this forbidden Earth...
********
until again my angel...
