There lived a princess who lives in a slum
She doesn't wear a crown or a big fancy ball gown

She struggled, sacrifices blood and tears
But she lived under no fears and she wished to be happy

She never waited for a prince to sweep her off her feet
She never wants to capture a heart of royalty

She's not a damsel in distress
She just want to try her best

So she fuels herself with dreams and books
A little faith and imagination was all it took

She picked up a pen and wrote down her thoughts
Cause all her ideas were helping her lots

And then they found her, a diamond in the rough
Not like everyone else, who's life revolve around looking for love

Her's has hope and a fight and struggles and defeating fears and horrors

Yes, she was a princess who lived in a slum
But she's a princess not cause of her looks or her nonexistent crown

Everything she wrote and spoke was a work of art
Yes, she is a princess because of the faith in her heart
