I’m not who you think I am

All of this was just a scam

So every time I laugh at every joke you crack

Deep down inside me is my happiness that lacks

"You look nice today" is what I said

"I'm using you" is what I meant

I don’t want people to think that I’m depressed

I just want them to be happy while I sit here stressed

I’m double-sided, but you knew that

You really don’t want to meet that brat

I was born in it, I was lured in it

I can’t get it out because I had woven with it

But sometimes I just feel

To use the other side for real

Because things can go far

And it can leave another scar

People are blinded to it

This is not a society where I fit

Mainstream media is what people admire

But that’s not what I desire

I have thoughts you don’t want to know

They’re too dark for me to show

Oh lord, have mercy on me

I never asked for this to see

My first side is my sanity

My other side is my reality

I may live like this forever

Cause we get along very well together

But sometimes I just feel

To use the other side for real

Because things can go far

And it can leave another scar
