I digress
from truth

Hidden
Deep in the corners
of your love

I am lost
Holding on
to fairytales
painted by your lies
my eyes
see
smoke screens

black and blue

purple haze

blurred gaze

intentionally hiding
the shame
of
decisions to remain
your slave
I will
perform
for your sake
to see a smile
on your face
forgoing the many
grimaces
Rightfully?
warranted by my
mistakes
If i can get it right just this time
I will have the love
Twisted
and
Turned into
the layers of my skin
and
in my womb
you so forcefully
overtake
and my soul
you intentionally break
with every finger sliding across
my face
I say yes to your will
as i stand still
in the darkness
and
in the silence of this place
I once called
safely
the beauty of love
