A Lot Of Neck

Come and see the spectacle, it’s one you won’t want to miss;

Gerald and Georgina here are going to do the twist.

First they’ll start with limbering up, a move here, a move there,

they’ve really got a lot of neck, there’s no one to compare.

Gerald starts off with a head roll, makes it the full way round,

Georgina watches patiently and doesn’t make a sound.

Then it’s Gerald’s time for watching and Georgina’s turn is now --

a triple dip and undulate, she’ll finish with a bow.

They both take turns in practising the good old Granny knot

then they approach together to share that centre spot.

Gerald moves, then Georgina, their heads in time together

but they end up really tangled and it makes you wonder whether

they’ll ever separate themselves, they’ll ever come undone

or if forever they'll be stuck with two heads joined as one.

There is a lot of heaving, a lot of groaning at the start

but following a few false starts they finally come apart.

Gerald and Georgina, they stand there and they sway,

they hope you have enjoyed the show and that they’ve made your day.
