You Asked For It.

 

Seriously, did you think I’d just wait for you to return to pick up your stuff? After what you said! After how you behaved! Well, if you did, you can just think again.

 

I’ll gather it all together. It doesn’t make me sad to see your possessions now – not one little bit. The sight of them makes me madder still. Into the bag with everything, squashing it all so that it will fit. Pull tight that zip and hold it shut.

 

Pitifully little to show for six months, isn’t it! I guess you’d always planned on leaving.

 

It's one great thing about living here. The nearness of the sea! A walk on the shore can be so refreshing; a climb on the rocks can be great for stress.

 

It’s warm! No need for a jacket. I even decide to go barefoot. I can wriggle my toes in the sand, grip with them on the rocks.

 

I hold that bag and fling it far out to sea. I relish the splash it makes.

 

You come back looking for your stuff......Well, you’ll just have to swim for it!
