Entropy and Metaphysics

Standing upon the shore of wondering,

gazing at the massive and still gentle motion

of waves meeting absolute ground.

Looking down in  the gravity of the next moment

causing a pause to thought.

Kneeling to the earth and given vision,

see the sand in its worth as ancient rock and skeleton shell.

Created life before us molded new now.

Something great and tiny there all at once,

which is the sand that we walk upon.

unmasked delusions

Beautiful, little poem. I've always been fascinated with the ocean-- how it seems simple yet at the same time it's so magnificent and deep

And don't forget there are sharks, so be careful if you go beyond the shoreline and enter the water.
They are of the ocean also.

At the moment one can't help but thinking of the creator. Beautiful.

Reminiscent of Old English riddles.

This is graceful and insightful.

I note that it does not rhyme. (see previous comment)

This poem brings a sense of awe and mystery at the timeless cycle of the waves on the sand. I enjoyed the ground down analysis of sand as shell and rock.

That's a masterpiece. Each stanza is spiritual and that made me sing : "What a Beautiful World!".
