From the moment when you first took a seat,

My heart always seems to skip a beat.

Your smile really brings the heat.

You always know how to pull my heart string.

Every time you do, it makes my heart sing.

This was never meant to be just a fling.

You mended my broken heart,

But that was only just the start.

You made my life feel like art.

Just when I thought I had it all.

You shattered it with a single call.

So, to say it’s over, only made me fall.

I cried out, “Give me one more try.”

But you just sat there and watched me cry.

You say it’s over but I know that’s a lie.

Once again, I sit in the shattered pieces of my life.

I thought you were to be my wife,

But in the end, you only caused me strife.
