Slippin' Off The Teeter-Totter

Don't change the way the water spills

Don't pick up another thrill

Thee oceans of loss have topped the hill

And as the monsters dance on your head

A new sensation covers the dead

I don't need to peep into the fog banks

Just remember to drink the gas from my tank

I don't need to cook any crank

White dragons, I don't need to be chasing

Vapor is enough to keep my lungs singing

I don't just feel like a bag of some grape

I drink a bottle of grape juice ev'ryday

And wonder what is being poured into my brain

As the caterpillars wash down the street

The march of death skips a beat

And my heart is lost in the stars above

Not knowing anything I just thought of

But clearly understanding my lack of love

As I justify fucking up a lot of the time

I could aim my loss to the skies and climb

Here, in my chamber of unrememberable thoughts

I move not, my head, and move on

Scribbling out what looks like ink blots

From the pages of mayhem

That tear a hole in The Hoover Dam

Letting me go nowhere but ev'rywhere

Just trying to afford the fare

Creaking into the dust is a Hell of a scare

But if the cherries can bounce

So can I, as I look down
