The wind blew gently. The water caressed my toes. Salt was in the air.

“Your life is not your own. It too belongs to those that cherish you.” But what of those whom hold lives none announces ownership of?
I stand in front of the hand-picked cause to the affront of my maker.
None lay claim so I need no consideration for others.

I have always questioned things because I am alive.
What point does living have if I do not feel alive?
Why exist if no one knows of my existence?

Why must I bring across questions that hurt as they do?
Is it because I am living?

I would’ve been happier if I hadn’t questioned.
Tis easier to stay alive without living than it is to live in this life.

All my questions were for nought.
As a person who lived I am truly dead.
Perhaps action is needed
to mend the paradox of my existence.

I need not hesitate.
I step into the blue with anticipation.
But I wasn’t happy
I just hoped that in my last gasps for air that I shall feel more alive than ever before.
