Dead in Nowhere

By Dean Packard

Tracy was laying there not making a sound. He'd been laying there for at least 4 hours the others were fucked up beyond reasoning the others didn't think they would make it out alive  Alex screamed at the top of his lungs dead in the night: "FUCK!! I KNEW WE SHOULD OF TRUSTED THAT MOTHERFUCKER!!!" Tracy was a long time friend of Alex and had known him since Elementary School and there, right now his friend was dying right in front of him just because of some fucking laced weed. Tyler had his headphones in listening to "On Melancholy Hill" by the band Gorillaz and was enjoying his last moments in a deadly euphoric state. Alex was thinking of all the good times they had as kids.

Alex was the one who introduced weed to Tracy he enjoyed it he was in middle school. Back when they were both bullied immensely, there were points when they both wanted to kill themselves but were saved through therapy there was one therapist that Alex always looked up to she was an older lady approximately in her mid 50's she told things to Alex that he would cherish in his life all the way up until this point. It was dark, pitch black the only source of light was there cellphones. Alex began crying he is only 21 years old and was going to die.

Tyler was a friend of Tracy they used to get stoned and watch old movies together from the 1940's and 50's it was relaxing for them like some sort of therapy for all the shit in there life they could just relax and laugh and not care about anything else. It seemed like Tracy wasn't going to make it they couldn’t drive they were too fucked up to focus on anything. They have had several beers and had hit probably too many off blunts to even know right from wrong but it was all because of their road trip. It was supposed to be perfect, they were away from their parents to go to Chicago for the summer but they were tricked, tricked into buying the wrong shit.
