Depressed eyes looked at me. You didn’t say a word, but your brain was busy looking for the right thing to say. Tears started to roll down your face. Something was wrong, i saw it when you walked in. You rolled up your sleeve, fresh cuts appeared. I panicked, i didn’t know what to do or what to think. You were happy, you said. Why did you lie to me? I thought you stopped cutting. I was speechless, i got sick in my stomach. We stood there for what felt like forever. Before i realized you ran away. I was frozen, i couldn't move. I was scared of what you would do. I fell on the floor, sobbing.

An hour past, my phone rang. It was the police. You jumped into the freeway. With only a note left, was your life not worth more than a stupid note? I couldn't cry, i felt so empty. It felt like the world stood still, like nothing mattered. You are gone, you left me. But i couldn't blame you, this world just wasn’t the place for you.

I will never forget your depressed, tired eyes. They will forever be my favorite.
