Tiny Little Rainbows

Whenever I am weeping,

Whenever I do cry,

These tiny little rainbows

Appear before my eye.

They really are so very small

But still provide some hope

That today I won’t be seeking out

That chair, that piece of rope.

These little colors sparkle

They twinkle in the air;

It’s like a kind of challenge,

Continue – do you dare?

These little tiny rainbows

Will set my tears to dry,

It really might seem senseless

But now I’ll tell you why.

They remind me of your friendship,

They tell me that you care,

They bring to mind that promise

That I’d always just be there.

So if you see me weeping,

So if you see me cry,

You can be pretty certain

That I’m not about to die.
