I went to see Abbey Road studios

Made famous by the Fab four

My pilgrimage down to London

Surprised I'd not been before.

Where they recorded all their albums

From the debut Please Please Me

The mind blowing Sergeant Pepper

And the final Let it Be.

Seen clips of the lads going in and out

Being interviewed by the press

Answering questions with a joke

Chatting  on the studio steps.

I went to see Abbey Road studios

Crossed at the spot on the album cover

The street was full of Beatles tourists

Taking one photo after another.

We crossed  and crossed again

Holding up all the passing cars

We marched along in single file

Emulating the Liverpool stars.

My trip to Abbey Road was fab

It will stay with me forever

It was like meeting the band

And we all come together.
