Where have you been Since you've been away my walls are caving in The sun doesn't peak the same The world around has become black in this place Where have you been What can I do If I never see you again My stomach is a bursting balloon And my mind can't grasp the concept that I've lost you Where have you been While you were gone the image of you was still in my mind And though these years have Shredded to nothing I can't remember when I couldnt think of you while hoping You would come back You've been away too long I have to remind myself this is what you want I'm drowning in this sea of endless loneliness Supposing I've held our memories as a keepsake to look into whether you returned to me or not In the midst of the fog I hear your voice drawing near And suddenly you're sitting on the bench For the first time Ill ask where it is you have been ...
