She shivered as the freezing snow fell all around her. She couldn't believe there was a blizzard in September! As she stood in the snow she could see a faint shadow in the far off distance. It was foreboding and looked like something from a different universe but it was nothing like she'd ever seen, so she just assumed she was just seeing things. The shadowy figure started slowly approaching her, and she couldn't tell if he or it could see her but It seemed like it was walking right at her. She then saw something in its hand, something sharp and strange, she couldn't tell what it was. "Hello! Is somebody there?!" She screamed in the howling wind. No response. As the shadow came closer she started feeling uneasy, like something was terribly wrong. The shadow neared her and then froze instantly, not moving a single muscle. Then it started sprinting at her so fast that she didn't have time to move before it was right in front of her eyes, she could finally see it's face, she couldn't believe what she was seeing, it was inhuman and hideous! It got so close to her that she could feel it's breath on her skin, then all she could see was darkness.
"She's been missing for almost a year, and you haven't found anything?!!" Shrieked Sadie's mother Beatrice. "Now just calm down, we are doing everything we can mrs.thompson" reassured  officer Bentley “everything you can?!! EVERYTHING YOU CAN???!!” Repeated Beatrice, “I promise you we are doing everything in our control. I need to head back down to the station now, just remember we are here for you whenever you need us.” Proclaimed the officer, proceeding to exit the house as if a monster was chasing him.

As the officer left, Beatrice started crying which turned into her lying on the ground balling her eyes out, “where are you sadie?! Where are you…” Beatrice cried out.

Concrete, concrete everywhere. All she could see was concrete, concrete walls, concrete floors. “What is going on” Sadie whispered, barely conscious. She looked around, eyes trying to focus. She could see a wooden bed with no mattress and no blankets, just a single pellow at the top of the bed. As she started to get back her consciousness she started to remember what had happened. She started searching for a way out but there didn't seem to be any windows or doors or anything. “I need to get out of here” she proclaimed, starting to get up. She started panicking, her heart going a hundred miles a second. “How long have I been here?” She whispered to herself. All she could remember was darkness and pain, so much pain.
