"Sel! Over here!"

I whipped my head around to see a tall boy with long locks of black hair frantically waving me over. Next to him stood a bespectacled boy with messy hair, a stout nervous looking one, and finally....him.

"Hey, marauders!" I greeted, rushing over. I tackled Sirius and ruffled his hair. He laughed and winked at me.

"Falling for me, are we?" He teased, but I punched his chest before moving on to Peter.I leaned down slightly at Peter. He mumbled some sort of hello, turning beet red that I was taller than him. I tackled James and laughed as he grunted under the weight. He smiled crookedly at me, and then, I stopped in front of Remus.

His chocolate brown eyes twinkled, and his mousy hair was messy as if he was recently messing with it. He smiled at me warmly, and I turned slightly pink hugging him. He was taller now, and not as lanky as last year. He wrapped his arms around my back tightly, and I could feel his heartbeat spike through his sweater. Sirius and James wolf-whistled as we pulled away. I kicked them in the shin and Remus cleared his throat.

"Ouch! That's abuse, that is, woman!" Sirius howled, clutching his leg.

"That's what you deserve, Black!" I snorted, still clutching Remus' arm. He didn't complain, so I didn't let go, although I was smiling giddily.

"What are you smiling at?" James asked suddenly, as he recovered the bags he dropped when I kicked him.

"Oh, the mere stupidity," I said lightly.

"Stupidity of what?"

Remus snorted while Peter giggled quietly. James pretended to be offended and put a hand to his chest. I stuck my tongue out at him, still hanging on to Remus.

"Oh, the pain! The misery! Selene does not love me anymore!" He wailed, leaning on me, pretending to swoon. I giggled and he grinned, his head upside down on my shoulder. His brown eyes gleamed, looking at me sort of cross-eyed.

"Oh, I'll always love you, Potter." I sighed, kissing his forehead. He grinned. Remus stiffened and coughed a bit. I glanced at him and could see his eyebrows were furrowed slightly. I linked arms with him as the marauders and I walked along Diagon Alley. He turned pink and grinned at me sheepishly, which I returned.

"Ooh, whatever happened to Evans, Prongs?" Sirius sang, looking at him than to me. He turned red and glared at Sirius.

“Lily I love you; Lily, I do-" I started to sing.

"And when we're apart-" Sirius joined in.

"MY HEART BEATS ONLY FOR YOU!!" We all shouted, excluding James. Random witches and Wizards stared at us as we roared with laughter. James hunched over, avoiding our gaze and the looks of others as if to say 'I don't know these loons, I've been kidnapped.' I was trying to recover from all the laughing and rested my head on Remus' shoulder. He stiffened a bit, but relaxed.  Sirius and Peter were leaning on each other for support, while James was complaining about how we were idiots. But, we had a tiny moment while I laid my head on him, with our arms linked, in Diagon Alley under the sunset.

Remus' POV

I smiled as Selene walked over to us. She was slightly taller than last year, and her face was a little more mature. So was her body. Her hips were more noticeable, and she was...curvier. Yet her eyes...her beautiful silver eyes still glimmered the way they used to. She examined all of us as she came closer, but turned pink as she looked at...Me or James? I frowned slightly. She was very close to the both of us… particularly more flirty with him… but my eye twitched slightly as she threw herself at Sirius. Then hugged Peter. He mumbled something about her height, turning beet red, but I rolled my eyes. He was red because her chest had been close to his face as she hugged him. But I felt better when I realized she was hugging us in turn. Then she tackled James, and I felt a pang of jealousy. Why didn’t she laugh like that when she was close to me?

Pucker up, Moony!!” Sirius hissed at me, winking as Selene approached me. I blushed but tried to hide it. I smiled down at her, and she grinned before wrapping her arms around my neck. I felt my face and neck burn intensely. I wrapped my arms around the small of her back and leaned down. Had she always been this short? Godric, her hands were soft and warm on my neck. My heart beat at about a million miles a second until the fools started to wolf-whistle-

Oh God, was that on purpose? We pulled away, but my hands lay on her waist, and I turned pink, rather than scarlet this time. Selene moved to kick them in the shins and I cleared my throat, and the temperature on my face returned to normal.

“Ouch! That is abuse, that is, woman!” Sirius moaned at Selene who now stood very close to me. She retorted something back and subconsciously wrapped her arms around my arm, which made me smile. I glanced and saw her smiling too, looking at her boots. This just made me grin. She might, Moony. She just might…

“-You smiling about?” James glanced at Selene. I snapped back to reality.

“Oh, the mere stupidity.” She said softly. I grinned, knowing where this was going.

“Stupidity of what?”

I snorted, and thought “you have no idea”. James then swooned onto her. On her shoulder, gazing into her eyes. I looked at the pair of them and saw Selene laughing. Again.

“Oh, I’ll always love you, Potter,” She sighed, kissing his forehead. I felt that pang again. James turned pink ever so slightly and I looked away. I coughed, trying to snap James out of it at least. But, instead, I felt a pair of arms snaking through one of mine. I turned around and saw Selene properly adjusting her bags to make room for my arm. I smiled at the small gesture, blushing. She smiled back, her cheeks pink. Then they started to tease James about Lily Evans, and I laughed until Selene started to chant.

“Lily, I love you, Lily I do-”

“And when we’re apart-” Sirius chimed in. I took a deep breath.

“MY HEART BEATS ONLY FOR YOU!!” We screamed, laughing hysterically. I caught my breath as Selene suddenly laid her head in the crook of my neck. We had stopped walking, and James was whining about the singing. I froze, looking down at the girl leaning on me. She was breathing deeply from all the laughing and hugged my arm. I studied her face, her hair, her eyes, and those two random freckles on her left cheek. I leaned back on her slightly, an elated feeling swelling in my chest. My friends were recovering off to the side, and forgot about us, going into a sweets store. I breathed in her scent of warm bread and fruits. She told me she enjoyed baking, and she smelled like it apparently. But...still. I’m a werewolf, and she does know about it…. She respects my privacy during my time of the month. I know I can be a bit crabby, but she soothes me until the day comes. In a way, she makes me feel better than James, Sirius, and Peter do. She’s really sweet and assures me that it’ll all be okay, whereas the marauders just joke and laugh until the full moon. Merlin, I love this girl.
