Standing high in the heavens

On a ridge overlooking the valley

I could hear the thunder of many hooves

The leader was a mustang by the name of Black Sally

She was a beauty, the queen of all mustangs

Her blackness glistened in the sun

Wild and free for eternity

The vision of her could not be outdone

Returning to the mountains I awaited her return

Disappointed that she had moved on

Dreaming of her will have to suffice

Though the vision of her cannot be outdone
