In the Mirror

In the mirror, I see

the sun facing time

under the eyes of the

darkness. Throughout

the night a shadow

reaches into the mirror

and pulls out the light

that forgot to sew

together the missing

ashes of redemption

drifting on top of the

souls that wishes to come

upon it. Inside the mirror I

see a girl with a scarred glass

arising from the sharp lines

of the heavens and cutting a

hole in the heart of the sky so

there will be a home for the sun’s

mother and father.
