Mother to Son

Well son, I’ll tell you:

Life ain’t been no swiss breeze.

It’s had its shallow secrets and

broken wishes and bottled tears.

But I’ve been climbing towards the

sons of the moon,

And searching for a pair of

the lost shadows eyes,

and receiving answers from

the angel of the sun

where I have ran into

the father of darkness

a few times.

Oh son go towards the light

And not towards the sun

so you can earn all your blessings

for life ain’t been no swiss breeze.
